Rubber Ducky, You're the One!

Hundreds of ducks raced down the brook on Memorial Day giving spectators the chance to win big!

The 14th Annual Duck Race brought crowds of people to Memorial Park on Memorial Day despite the scorching heat. Six hundred rubber ducks per race floated down towards the finish line as children and adults cheered them on. With six races, there were many chances to win some great prizes. Kindles, digital cameras and gift certificates were among the many prizes up for grabs. The South Orange/Maplewood Kiwanis Club runs the annual event, with all proceeds going towards local children's charities.

Ready, Set, Quack! There's Still Time to Get Your Ducks in a Row

The 14th Annual Rubber Duck Race is fast approaching, and you can get in on the action.

Participants can sponsor rubber ducks for a donation of $5 each at Maplewood Stationers in the days leading up to the race, as well as at the starting …

The South Orange & Maplewood Kiwanis 14th Annual Rubber Duck Race will be held on Memorial Day, in Maplewood's Memorial Park following the Memorial Day parade and festivities at Maplewood Town Hall. The rubber duck racers can be sponsored for a donation of five dollars at Maplewood Stationers, Marine Agency and the South Mountain YMCA in the days leading up to the day of the race, as well as at the starting line on the Oakview Avenue bridge on Memorial Day. Proceeds from the event go towards …
