interACT Theatre Presents The Full Monty

Two weekends at The Baird for the fun music and story of men who rebound when stripped of their pride and jobs.

Six unemployed steelworkers try to make some quick cash by taking off their clothes in The Full Monty being performed at The Baird Theatre in South Orange. Nicholas Clarey directs this popular musical for interACT Theatre Productions. Performances are May 10-May 12 and May 17-May 19 (7:30 p.m. Friday/Saturday nights; 2 p.m. Saturday/Sunday matinees). Stripped of their pride and livelihoods, the men’s unlikely new job strengthens their self-esteem and friendship in this musical version of the Academy Award-nominated 1997 film. Updated: The Full Monty Has More Audition Dates

interACT Theatre Productions will present the musical.

Updated: If the snow kept you indoors, there's still a chance to audition. Here are the new dates: Feb 11, 13 6:30pm-9:00pm  and Feb 16 1:00pm-4:00pm   Auditions will be February 6-February 9 for interACT Theatre Production’s presentation of The Full Monty. The musical centers around a group of unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York, who come up with a bold way to make some quick cash after seeing how much their wives enjoy watching male strippers during their "Girls' Night Out." The book is by Terrence McNally, with music and lyrics by David Yazbek. Nicholas J. Clarey, interACT’s artistic director, will direct this production. This past fall, he directed the theatre’s acclaimed performances of The Crucible. Auditions will be 6:30-9 …
