Cop Charged in Road Rage Murder, Judge Accused of Harboring Fugitive Top State News

Maryland State Police say Joseph Walker, an officer with the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, fatally shot a man who approached his vehicle on the shoulder of a Maryland highway following a road rage encounter last Saturday. Walker, who claims self defense, was released from a Maryland jail on $1 million bond Thursday. A Woodbridge Superior Court Judge who was arrested Tuesday had been harboring a "live-in companion" wanted for an alleged armed robbery, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said.
