Irvington Residents Arrested in Daytime Burglary
South Orange police issue reminder to assist in stolen item recovery.
South Orange police have announced the arrest of four Irvington residents who were allegedly involved in a daytime burglary of a Glenview Road home in January, police officials said. Shakee Clemmons, 19, and Elijah Mix, 19, along with two juveniles, were arrested Jan. 15 at approximately 6 p.m. after a joint South Orange and Newark police investigation determined they allegedly forced their way through a window and back porch of the home earlier in the day and took an undisclosed amount of jewelry and electronics. Detectives recovered all of the stolen items, officials said.
