My love of animals dates back as far as I can recall.  This holds especially true when it comes to dogs. I started working with dogs out of necessity. I always had rescues and strays with which always came behavioral issues.  I began traning dogs about 20 years ago and that grew into a passion for other area's to improve a dogs health and longevity.  Almost 10 years ago my interest into Canine Nutrition peaked and has since consumedmy life.  I have a Diploma in Canine Nutritional Consulting and another in Advanced Canine Nutrition ( CASI).  My goal is to educate pet owners on the appropriate way to care for their companions and the single most important thing we can do for our beloved furry friends is to feed them what nature intended, not what some ill advised ( although they may mean well) individual suggest.  Dogs and Cats are carnivores and should be fed as such.  Most commercial pet food alone will not ensure that we are giving our pets the nutrients they need to "thrive".
