About Aimee
I was born and raised in New Jersey, having grown up in Nutley (aka Martha Stewart's hometown).
I have a B.A. in Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan College with a minor in Creative Writing.
I've been doing journalistic writing for over eight years. My commentary has been printed in The New York Times as well as various NJ newspapers. I was also the Editorials Editor of Nutley High's Maroon and Gray and a regular contributor to Marymount's The Monitor.
After living in NYC for four years during college, I've returned home to NJ. This has truly given me a new appreciation of the state and these days life is a bit like Springsteen's "My Hometown."
Now my goal is to catch up on visiting as many NJ hot spots as possible. (New fave hobby: exploring Jersey vineyards.)
The two main laws I live by are humanity and humor.

Hi Aimee
I couldn't find your email address online so I hope you get this message. I wanted to sincerely thank you for writing such a nice article about me and my business the Neighborhood Fit Club. It was very well written! I've had some prior experiences with the local media that were less than pleasant so it was both refreshing and impressive to see this article in the Ridgewood News. I actually read a recent article you wrote about florists decorating the White House and remembered your name because I said "wow this really stands out" as good writing. Thank you so much again, you're a fantastic writer and I really appreciate it! Please come in for a free class of your choice whenever you're in the neighborhood! Full class schedule is online at www.dianasfitclub.com.
Thanks again and talk to you soon.
