Sitting outside and enjoying one's backyard has become increasingly more difficult.

Teens should be able to grab an apple or other snack if they think they'll get hungry at a game. Parents should not still be bringing their snacks.

When my boys were young - back in pee wee football, biddy basketball, T-ball - parents took turns bringing snacks. Cut up oranges, granola bars, Gatorade. I get it.

The word "internship" is popping up in my circle more and more frequently as of late. Usually as in, "My kid's looking for an internship for the summer...do you know anyone?"

The College Admissions Waiting Game

It has come to my attention that a good number of high school seniors this year have been wait-listed at the colleges of their choice. I'm not sure if I'm alone, but I am absolutely amazed by this.
