ReplySurely every defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence and he will get his day in court. But, if it is true that the son of the owner of this local business regularly insults his customers with homophobic slurs, the less bigoted citizens of might well decide that they prefer to do business elsewhere. In such a diverse town, customers have a reasonable expectation that when they "pays their money to the barkeep" it won't be to support his petty prejudices. Let's see how the trial goes.

And you know that to be a fact? How? And your preferred remedy is to "punch him out"? Sounds oh-so-macho, maybe a bit primitive. Or just stereotypical barbarian behavior, not something about which to beat your chest in public, at least among the civilized. Yes, indeed, you should be "sorry."
