Two Seton Hall Students Robbed at Gunpoint

Two students were walking near the South Orange campus when they were robbed by two men and a woman, police say.

Two students of Seton Hall University were robbed by two men and a women while walking near the campus, according to a South Orange Police report.

The students were walking on Gardner Ave. near Riggs Pl. around 11 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, the report stated.

“The victims stated that they were approached from behind by two black males and a black female who brandished a black handgun and demanded both victim's cell phones and wallets,” police said.

They were described as being in their late teens, having thin builds with one male wearing a white shirt, the other male actor wearing a dark sweatshirt with short hair and the female was described as wearing all black.

The two men and woman fled North on Ruggs Pl. with the cell phones and wallets, police said.
